ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY:

 

Based at the Detour Lake Mine site, we currently have an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator to join our Human Resources team reporting to the Human Resources Manager.

 

The Human Resources Administrator will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient functioning of the Human Resources department with a focus on HR-Success Factors administration.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

 

  • Process, verify, and update documentation related to HR activities such as employee document, recruitment, performance management, statistics, and salary administration;
  • Input payroll changes in Success Factors accurately and timely according to payroll deadlines;
  • Ensure the integrity of SAP data through standard auditing practices;
  • Participate in the administration and integrity of the HRIS data and other related HR software;
  • Advise employees on relevant policies and procedures, or direct employees enquiries to the appropriate person;
  • Act as a liaison between benefit carriers (group plans and RRSP) in the provision of benefits and payroll administration;
  • Provide training and guidance to site timekeepers for the integrity of time management with HRIS time and payroll modules;
  • Compile data, statistics and other information and conduct research as and when required;
  • Create monthly and quarterly reports.

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

  • Diploma or Degree in HR or Business Administration required;
  • Achieved or working towards CHRP designation is an asset;
  • Minimum three years’ experience in a Human Resources role;
  • Minimum three years’ experience in administrative support;
  • Success Factors knowledge is considered an asset;
  • High proficiency level with Microsoft Office particularly with Excel;
  • Strong emotional intelligence;
  • Able to hand multiple priorities and meet deadlines;
  • Experience in a cross-cultural working environment.
